PHP & MySQL Apps
Two database-backed web apps: a book-swapping community and a parking-spot reservation system.

Book Worm Buddies
A community where readers list the books they own and swap them with each other.
- PHP
- MySQL
Built as a CSE370 course project. Members register the books they own into a personal collection, put books on a public showcase, and browse or search the books other members have available.
- Swap workflow: request a book → the owner accepts or declines → the book is returned when you're done.
- Feedback between members, with replies and deletion.
- Profile editing and account deletion.
Car Parking
Register parking spots, reserve them, and manage it all from an admin page.
- PHP
- MySQL
- Register, edit and delete parking spots with their details.
- Book a spot and see your reservations in one place.
- A complaints page, a regulations page, and an admin view.
How they're built
Both apps follow the same plain, dependency-free structure: one PHP file per page or action, shared header.php and footer.php includes, a single dbconnect.php that opens a mysqli connection, and PHP sessions for sign-in. Queries that include user input go through prepared statements. That pattern appears in over 20 Book Worm Buddies files and 15 Car Parking files.
